Concrete driveway sealer recommendations?
Specific brands you have experience with.
Preferably those that don't darken or gloss the driveway. Also, would like a penetrating sealer as opposed to a surface coating.
It's a concrete driveway and NOT an asphalt driveway (so no black coating or tar products). I'd like to seal it while keeping its natural gray poured concrete look.
The driveway is 3 years old and has never been sealed. It's not cracked or scaling. It's subject to high heat (100 degrees in summer), extreme cold (-20 in winter), as well as rain, snow, and ice.
Zuker: That sort of eliminates the purpose of Yahoo! Answers. For every question in every category on Yahoo! Answers you could answer with "Go to the nearest [insert place] and ask [insert expert]". That's just lazy way to answer.
Hi Chad,
We use a product called "Concrete Sealer X-1. It's not cheap but it's really good. We have used it in hundreds of locations with excellent results over the years. Here is the website.

I would recommend that you go to a home improvement store near you, and ask these questions.

Benjamin Moore Concrete Waterproofing Sealer is my product of choice. It is a silicone acrylic penetrating sealer available in 8 colors plus a clear.

The best suggestion is a hydraulic based paint. Behr makes a low-Lustre Sealer No. 986 available at Home Depot. This will seal out moisture while preserving the concrete.
Simply clean the driveway, free of dirt and oil and then apply.
The only down fall is that it's curing time is 72 hours before you can drive on it, and you are recommended to park the tires on cardboard for thirty day.
I found that after about 15 days. I didn't have any problem parking on it.
